The use of pressure spray dryers in ceramic machinery enterprises

Pressure spray dryers are more commonly used in production. The dried products are particulate, and the average average particle size can reach about 150-200um. The products have good fluidity and wettability, so they are welcomed by users.
It is mainly determined by the working principle of the pressure atomizer, so that this drying system has its own characteristics. Because the dried product is particulate, both the droplets and the particles of the product are larger than the other two types, resulting in a longer drying time for the droplets.
In addition, the spraying atomization angle is also small, generally between 20-70 degrees, so the shape of the dryer is also mainly a high tower, so that the droplets have a residence time. Add a certain pressure to the feed liquid and atomize it through the atomizer, so a high-pressure pump is required in the system.
In addition, because the atomizer has a small pore size, in order to prevent foreign matter from blocking the atomizer pores, it is necessary to filter the liquid before entering the high-pressure pump. Pressure spray drying is used to obtain granular products. Therefore, pressure spray dried products have their application properties.
The pressure atomizer is an important part of the pressure spray dryer. Under the pressure of the high-pressure pump, the liquid enters the rotation chamber at a high speed from the tangential channel of the atomizer, so that the liquid generates high-speed rotation motion in the rotation chamber. According to the law of conservation of rotational flow moment, the rotation speed is inversely proportional to the radius of the rotation chamber, so the closer to the axis, the greater the degree of rotation, and the smaller the static pressure.
When the rotation speed reaches a certain value, when the pressure at the atomizer is equal to or greater than the air pressure, the ejected liquid forms a conical annular liquid film that rotates around the air core. With the increase of the liquid film, the waves formed by the severe disturbance of the air continue to develop, and the liquid film splits into thin lines. And affected by the radial partial velocity of turbulence and the relative velocity of the surrounding air, the liquid film is broken into filaments. After the liquid filament is broken, it is affected by surface tension to form a mist group composed of many mist droplets, and the water is evaporated to form a particulate product.
